Newcomer Empowerment Services
Our direct services are designed to foster self-sufficiency and mutual help in a community that is still 65% foreign-born. Our Newcomer Empowerment services include help with applications for citizenship and family petitions, access to low or no cost health care, and navigating the social safety net to strengthen self-sufficiency. These include:

- Immigrant Assistance: naturalization; family petitions–We are one of six agencies in the East Bay certified by the BIA! For more information about our Low Cost Immigration Assistance, click here.
- Public Assistance Referral: Medicare, Medicaid, SSI, Home loan modification
